Foundation History

On February 24, 2022, the international IT company Akvelon, with offices in Ukraine, including Kharkiv, came under fire during the russian missile attacks.
The company quickly organized the evacuation of its employees, along with their families and friends, moving them to safer areas.
At the same time, Akvelon launched large-scale volunteer initiatives to assist those in need.
These efforts led to the official registration of the charitable foundation on April 26, 2022.

One of the most active volunteers of the "Akvelon Ukraine. Social Initiative" foundation was Yana Rykhlytska, a recruiter at the company. She put tremendous effort into the development of the foundation, consistently took initiative, and led volunteer activities with remarkable dedication.
Later, Yana joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Tragically, she lost her life in March 2023 near Bakhmut, defending Ukraine.
Her irreplaceable loss fueled our determination to keep offering help with even greater resolve.

As of today, the total value of our aid is $209,396, and it increases every month, along with the inventory of purchased items, equipment, ammunition, and medical supplies.
Our foundation is sustained by donations from the founders, employees, and all those who care. We focus on supporting both military and medical sectors — because helping those who save us means bringing victory closer.
